I have no real interest in Graphics, but i need a cut of a face for a hp physics project....dont ask.

could someone tell me how to do it (with gimp) or possibly do it for me?

In PS I personally use the pen tool, or if it is a really distinct object, the magnetic lasso will sometims work.. If it is even more distinct magic wand that *^%$ but in gimp I'm not sure, I'm sure there is something very similar.

i need to figure out the layers and shit cause all it does is select the outside edge perfectly and then not do shit. i cant do anything with it afterwards, there are no allowed options
